Expand the Orphanage

More Space. More Care. More Children Reached.

Masaka Kids Africana began with just five children. Today, we care for over 200. Our small-scale orphanage in Masaka City has reached its limit, but the number of children in need continues to grow. Each day, we are faced with more requests for support—children without stable homes, without access to food, medical care, or education. We don’t want to turn anyone away. That’s why we must expand.

Expanding the orphanage means we can give more children a safe place to sleep, eat, learn, and feel protected. It means increasing the number of beds, classrooms, and basic facilities so every child under our care can grow up in a nurturing environment. We want every child to feel seen, heard, and supported—not crowded, not overlooked. Growth is not about numbers. It’s about making sure each child receives the attention and care they deserve.

With more space, we can also strengthen the quality of what we offer. More room means better conditions for learning and play. It allows for structured routines, dedicated study areas, improved hygiene, and space for counseling and emotional support. It gives our staff the tools they need to care for the children more effectively—and gives the children the structure they need to thrive.

We have the heart. We have the team. What we lack is the physical space to meet the growing need. By helping us expand the orphanage, you’re not just funding construction. You’re giving a child safety, stability, and a chance to grow in peace. Every contribution you make becomes part of the space that shelters, teaches, and heals.

Help us open our doors to more children who need love, care, and a place to belong.
