Vocational Skills Training Center

Build Skills. Restore Hope. Change Lives.

In Kako, along Bukakata Road, sits a quiet piece of land with a powerful future. This is where Masaka Kids Africana plans to build a Vocational Skills Training Center—a place where children, young mothers, and other vulnerable youth can gain hands-on skills to support themselves and their families. This project is more than construction. It’s a step toward long-term solutions for young people who have been left behind by formal systems.

Too many of the children and teens we serve never had the chance to attend school. Others were forced to drop out due to early pregnancy or poverty. Without skills, they face limited options and uncertain futures. The Vocational Skills Training Center will offer practical training in areas like tailoring, carpentry, farming, hairdressing, and other trades that lead directly to employment or entrepreneurship. For some, this will also be a bridge back into the classroom, giving them the confidence and support to resume their education.

This center will not only teach skills—it will restore dignity and purpose. It will give children and young mothers a reason to believe in themselves again. It will show them that their circumstances don’t define their future. We want every participant to leave with knowledge, confidence, and the ability to take care of themselves and those they love. Our goal is not charity. It’s empowerment.

The land is already secured. The vision is ready. What we need now is the support to build. With your help, we can put up walls, fill classrooms, hire instructors, and equip the center to serve generations of youth in Masaka. Every donation—big or small—brings us closer to seeing this project come to life.

Give them more than help. Give them tools, skills, and a future they can build with their own hands.
